This paper investigates the syntax and semantics of two verbal suffixes in Indonesian. The are suffix –kan -i. Many linguists have studied -kan, whereas –i got less attention. discusses conjunction with –i. marks a causative verb, locative verb. A verb has FIGURE object, GROUND object. proposed analysis employing alignment patterns showed more revealing result main functions
